The umbrellas
A row of open umbrellas runs across the ceiling of the dining room — a playful gesture that became the restaurant's signature, to the point that a review by Sapori e dissapori described it as the restaurant Mary Poppins would open in Ticino.
On the lakefront
Riva Vela 4: the dining room looks onto the Lugano lakefront, with the lake and the mountains in front of the tables. In summer you eat steps from the promenade; in winter, with the lake behind the glass.
The kitchen
Italian, seasonal, contemporary. The pasta and rice courses are mostly made in-house, the mains range across sea and land, and the dessert selection is generous. Gluten-free pasta on request.
Catering
Beyond the restaurant there is a catering service: the same kitchen, brought where it's needed — private events, celebrations, companies.
